Oh Ji-ho Lands Lead Role in New KBS Series

Actor Oh Ji-ho has been cast as the lead for the upcoming Mon.-Tues. KBS TV drama series 'Single Papa in Love.'

He will play 'Kang Poong-ho,' who has a 7 year old son and works as a pest exterminator during the day and a K-1 fighter at night. The optimistic single dad never loses his sense of humor under bitter trials.

Oh says he wants to encourage the 250,000 single fathers in Korea.

He will visit Japan this Saturday to promote his drama 'Oh Soo Jung,' in which he appeared opposite actress Eom Jung-hwa. 'Oh Soo Jung' will air in Japan from next month.

Oh Ji Ho- A Classic

Since the time I started collecting photos of Oh Ji Ho I have had one variety or another of this picture pop out at me.

It has been my least favored picture because the color is terrible, and he looks as though he's been fried.


Last night I came upon yet another shot from this series.

This one was a nice shot but for the color which dark enough to kill the appeal. I took it upon myself to do some adjusting, and this is what I got.

This one, I like! This is Classic Oh.

In the SBS most popular actor poll, Oh Ji Ho came in third out of ten. Even though it is not top position, it shows he has a good strong base of loyal people who like him, and support his efforts.

A New Year

As we stand at the threshold of a new year, many of us are thinking of all the things we did or did not do during 2007. Some are making resolutions, some never make them.

I am one of the latter.

I sometimes find myself whispering a wish out across the world though. "Be good to each other", I say, "Please don't be so filled with anger; please seek peace in every way possible."

Do wishes come true? I really don't know. But I will wish for you and from you...goodness of heart, charity toward those in need, open mindedness, fair-play, bountiful good health, prosperity, and more than anything, peace in your heart and peace of mind.
